Online Learning Plan
It's been great to see everyone again! Learning/Teaching online has been going well! I'm really impressed with all the extra effort and patience the students have exhibited during this challenging phase of school.
In an effort to simplify the online process, I have created a Online Learning Plan Document with all the information needed for Online Band Classes. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you!
Future Grizzly Band Parents & Students:
Are you interested in being part of the West Briar Middle School Band? Follow the steps listed below to pick your band instrument, meet the band directors, and get answers to your questions. Thanks!
1. Please watch the videos listed below to learn about Band at West Briar MS
2. Complete the Online Form - Choose Your Band Instrument
Band classes at West Briar are organized by instrument type. For example... all of the Beginner Clarinets have class at the same time daily, but it's a different time than the Beginner Trumpet players. By completing this form, you will have a much better chance of being placed in the correct band class at the beginning of the school year. This form is for information purposes only and not a contract. Please complete the form even if you're not 100% sure you want to have Band as your elective class at West Briar.

On Tuesday, January 28th the West Briar Band and Orchestra students will travel to Jones Hall to see the Houston Symphony perform! This a special program, taylored just for middle school student, features Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4! From the Houston Symphony's Website... Our students are very fortunate to live and attend school in an area with a world-class symphony orchestra!
Students need to pack a lunch and wear their band t-shirt/hoodie and khaki pants for the field trip. Please complete and return the linked Permission Form & Medical Release Form by Friday, January 24th.
